The focal points of our program are that learning is fun and preparation for a successful gifted kindergarten experience is essential. 

7:45 - 8:00     Drop off and Sign in

8:00 - 9:00     Attendance, Circle Time (Morning Announcements, Sign Language: Today Will Be     

                       Awesome/Beautiful, Letters of the Alphabet, Colors, Affirmations, Days of the Week, Calendar Time  

                       (Bundle the days we are here), complete morning work, ELA (CAPIT),

9:00 - 9:30     Snack and Recess 

9:45 - 10:20   Writing, CAPIT, Strong emphasis on holding pencil correctly and body positioning while writing,     

                       Number and letter formation emphasis 

10:20 - 10:45 Social Studies (Children as Citizens, individual rights, roles, and responsibilities), animal locations, 

                       Creative Curriculum  

10:45 - 11:15  Lunch in the cafeteria

11:15 - 11:30  Science (observe, ask questions and make predictions, participate in planning and 

                       conducting investigations, and recording data), Creative Curriculum

11:30 - 11:45  Recess

11:45 - 12:00 Social Emotional Learning  

12:00 - 1:25   Math (Eureka and extension with lots of manipulatives and group activities), Snack

1:30 - 2:00     Rest/Reset/Read aloud discussion  

2:00 - 2:30     Specials - Music, STEAM, Art, and PE

2:30 - 2:45     Pick Up and Sign Out

                                                      Mondays = Music

                                                      Tuesdays = Art                              

                                                      Wednesdays = STEAM               

                                                      Thursdays = PE (wear tennies)

                                                       Fridays = STEAM
