Hi! My name is Alexis Fassette, and I am the 6th Grade Math & Science teacher at Las Brisas. This is my second year teaching, and I am so excited to continue sharing my love of math and science with my students as they learn, grow, and gain confidence in the classroom.
I was born and raised in Arizona and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Personal & Family Financial Planning and a minor in Economics from the University of Arizona. I worked at a Financial Planning Group for 2 and a half years prior to deciding to change my career. I am a fourth-generation educator, with both my grandmother and mother having taught in the Deer Valley Unified School District. My mom currently teaches 2nd grade at Sonoran Foothills, which makes teaching even more special to me!
When I’m not teaching, I love spending time outdoors, hiking, traveling, playing tennis, and being with family and friends. I am incredibly excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to support my students as they prepare for middle school and beyond. I’m so proud to be part of the Las Brisas community!
