Our Kindergarten class expectations 

I believe in cultivating a positive classroom environment for all learners. We will be spending the first few weeks of school building our classroom community, practicing routines, and setting expectations. We will create our “Class Family Promise” which will be the foundation of what the expectations are in our classroom. Students will be a part of the process to create these “rules”. By allowing students to have a part in creating our classroom rules, students will intrinsically follow expectations and help hold each other accountable. I focus on students showing respect, being trustworthy and accountable, and being responsible and safe. Please discuss these expectations with your child to reinforce the positive behaviors desired. Welcome to Kindergarten grade! My name is Ms. Huskisson and this will be my second year teaching. I am delighted to be the bright beginnings teacher. I love teaching and I can't wait to share my love for learning with each of my students!

Aside from teaching, my hobbies include traveling, cooking, watching the sunset, thrifting, and spending time with my family. I have two sisters and a cat names tango and a bunny named Daisy they are a joy in my life. I am born and raised in Phoenix Arizona. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. 

I am so excited to get to know you and your family. We have a wonderful year full of laughter, learning, and of course, loads of FUN ahead of us!
